Building Custom Models with the Brain Dynamics Toolbox

This is an intermediate-level course for students, teachers and researchers who wish to simulate custom systems of differential equations using the brain Dynamics Toolbox. Students will master the art of programming differential equations and learn the best-kept secrets of the Matlab solvers. Step-by-step instructions are provided for programming systems of Ordinary Differential Equations (ODEs), Delay-Differential Equations (DDEs), Stochastic Differential Equations (SDEs) and Partial Differential Equations (PDEs). Upon completion of the course, students will be able to build their own custom models and run them interactively in the graphical user interface. They will also be able to automate those models in their own custom scripts. Example code is provided in all cases.

Pre-requisites: The Toolbox Basics course is recommended.
